The blogosphere nothing

Stavo rimettendo in ordine qualche idea da condividere qui sul blog, quando mi sono sorpreso a riflettere sul fenomeno blogosfera: un evento, a suo modo, perché della cosa (e the debates on) I never concerned. Ma la differenza tra blog seri e blog fasulli credo di riuscire a vederla. E mi domando come mai i blog che vanno per la maggiore mi annoiano a morte mentre altri molto meno noti mi interessano e mi motivano.

Qualche mese fa ho letto questa cosa di Paolo Valdemarin, che a sua volta citava ed esprimeva vivo apprezzamento per un post di Marco Mazzei . In entrambi i casi si parlava della blogosfera italiana e di come avesse deluso. Ebbene, io sono assolutamente d’accordo con loro e con le argomentazioni portate a a supporto.
Condivido con quei due anche l’apprezzamento per molti blog “minori”, se mi si passa l’espressione, quelli che ogni tanto mi capita di frequentare magari per caso (ne potrei citare una dozzina, ma mi limito a un paio che, senza pretese, senza spocchia, fanno cose significative, in piena libertà di giudizio, senza affiliazioni e intruppamenti).
Buona volontà, intelligenza, libertà e umiltà: ecco cosa ci trovo. E nessuna velleità (di diventare “redattori”, come dice Mazzei, o qualcos’altro, che so, politici, ecc.). Una boccata di ossigeno. Tutto qui.

Rob in particolare ha scritto (in italiano) cose memorabili sulla rovinosa caduta di Veltroni dopo i brillanti esordi. In inglese si è occupato anche della riformetta della Gelmini con un paio di post che condivido totalmente. L'argomento mi sta particolarmente a cuore, evidentemente, dal sistema training depends our future. Il fatto che l’approdo a questa soluzione sia stato su base volontaria e non imposto esternamente con il referendum (che diventa a questo punto indifferente) è un’ulteriore garanzia di tutela ed è un punto di arrivo migliore della grande coalizione, che rischia di non avere alternative temibili, diventando alla lunga passiva. È una grande occasione.

Non ci resta altro che sperare che Borghi abbia ragione. Personalmente oserei dire che l'ottimismo (la possibilità che si arrivi alla "quadratura del cerchio") non sarebbe del tutto fuori luogo.

Durante la mia ultima prolungata permanenza all’estero ho avuto modo di parlare con parecchi americani “in carriera”, gente lanciatissima, relativamente giovane, dinamica. Naturalmente l’argomento erano le primarie. La cosa che più mi ha colpito è stata la scarsissima considerazione per la quasi totalità dei candidati. Direi che il clima politico non sembra molto diverso da quello italiano. L’unica eccezione è Obama, che tra i democrats furoreggia come un nuovo Kennedy. Un fenomeno interessante, come può esserlo quello di questi americani “wasp” che stravedono per un candidato di colore. Un segno, direi, di quanto le cose sono cambiate negli States in questi ultimi anni: qualcosa di impensabile fino a poco tempo fa l’accettazione piena, senza riserve, della possibilità di vedere un nero alla Casa Bianca. Ne sono rimasto affascinato.

Un’altra cosa che mi aveva colpito era la diffidenza per Rudy Giuliani. Quindi la sua clamorosa caduta , devo dire, non mi ha meravigliato più di tanto. Sia tra i filo-democratici che tra i filo-repubblicani era opinione abbastanza diffusa, per esempio, che Giuliani, in realtà, non volesse affatto correre veramente per la presidenza. Non ho capito bene da cosa traessero questa convinzione, ma l’idea era che il “Sindaco d’America” sapeva benissimo che i repubblicani “doc” non lo avrebbero sostenuto. In effetti le cose sono andate così, e forse qualcosa di vero, in quelle dietrologie, c’era.

Sarà poi un caso, ma non ho trovato nessuno che tifasse o almeno dimostrasse stima for Hillary.
