
The idea was conceived with the aim of providing theoretical and practical tools for working in the publishing world in a professional manner and in step with the times: it offers four different training modules (including a very interesting editorial on the graphics) that take into account of the professionals in the publishing world and the following, ideally, the genesis of a text: the evaluation of the manuscript to the promotion and sale of the book. Besides the teachers, each module will involve some professionals who will share their testimonies concrete.
The four modules are: editing (such as choosing a book, publishing trends, the relationship with the author), graphics for publishing (editorial graphics, layout, font, desktop publishing software with his friend Leo Salvo), marketing editorial (relations with printing, office printing, distribution and promotion, web marketing) and literary translation (translation, editing, tools, checks).
Each module has a limited number (20 seats), and will be held in Palermo along three intensive weekend, between October 2010 and January 2011, for a total of 30 hours.
